Does this look familiar? If your like me, then this is an all too familiar scene… a mixture of that long forgotten projects, leftover yarn bits, and overall yarn chaos!

#3 Wrap those leftover, but still usable, bits of yarn around clothespins!

So adorable and neat!  Additionally, you can clip these onto any area you desire…a super fun to organize those tid bits of yarn! 🙂

#4 Cotton lined wicker baskets are also a great place to store yarn like Repeat Crafter Me did here!

Who doesn’t love a basket FULL of yarn?!

This idea is so cool, as you can just go grab a skein whenever you get the itch to knit or crochet!  Soon, you’ll have baskets all over your home, so you can craft at a moments notice! 😉

#5  The Yarn Box has a great way to store yarn, and is so unique!  A sugar shaker!

These will hold those small skeins that you don’t know what to do with…just don’t accidentally try to pour these into your coffee! Ha! 😉

Talk about pretty!  This is a great way to show off your gorgeous yarn colors as well as a neat way to keep your yarn contained!  Your yarn will never have looked so good!

These are an awesome way to store tons of yarns…and the perfect space saver!  The plastic casings will keep your yarn dust free, and will hold them nicely!

  3. I have a foot locker from Wal-Mart. All the major skiens I have in there.
    I have 3 of those cloth drawers, and a toy organizer hanging in my closet. I love the Jar idea. Fred Meyer has those here. Most of my scrap balls of yarn are in plastic bags that keep newspapers dry on the porch! I’ll try the Jar thing, Thank you!
